Welcome to the Levine Lab!
The Levine Lab at UC Berkeley is a member of the Center for Integrative Genomics. We study a diverse group of insects with an emphasis on Drosophila (fruit flies), one of the first genetic model organisms and Ciona (sea squirts), whose tadpoles provided one of the first evolutionary links between invertebrates and vertebrates.
